Choosing to specialise in Emergency Medicine with my diagnosis might seem risky. The responsibilities are greater the further you progress in your career, and therefore so does the pressure. With more pressure comes stress, anxiety and the potential to fall unwell.

My thoughts on masculinity
I had no idea what the term toxic masculinity meant. I had never heard of feminism. I certainly did not understand transgender issues. I also didn’t know anyone who was (openly) gay.
Bonnie, the Golden Retriever who couldn’t retrieve
Bonnie was our family dog, who joined us in September 2006. She died peacefully on my brother’s lap in November 2019. She was an incredible dog.
