Summer Night Skies

The Summer sun rises, bringing soft heat,
It swirls and swoons down with a gentle beat.

Soothing and charming falsetto voices,
Allow me to make resounding right choices.

Existing in peaceful tranquility,
Doesn't depart me from pure abilities.

Taking one or two composed steps back,
In order to pick up the mental slack.

Within this circle of family and friends,
Love and support does flexibly bend.

Outside the wilderness's wondrous shapes,
What chapter is next? We anticipate.

With our star ablaze does love burn bright,
Whilst the cool moon’s forces pull us tight.

For those before me and those to follow,
I promise to bring you joy from sorrow.

Above and beyond our conceivable sight,
Are benevolent forces with loving might.

They show us the way by nature's signs,
A bird may chirp, through cloud sun shines.

Although it may lack reason or rhyme,
I guarantee with patience and time.

Life’s worth living despite grief's holes,
Fill them up with kind, warm souls.
