With wind in his sails, courageous and bold,
Our Hero returned right back to the fold.
To continue his quest, equipped with lark songs,
He knew he must face Y Ddraig Goch head on.
The Sorcerer granted a potion of might,
The Knight provided wise words for the fight.
Within Draig’s lair, there was darkness around,
It was hard to win back our Hero’s lost ground.
The safe haven up North was no longer in sight,
He would have to find his own shining light.
Singing songs he knew that were true to himself,
He soon found others who wanted to help.
A pair of Swans did offer a hand,
A Southern Lone Cat soon joined the band.
The troupe grew strong as their songs got loud,
Two Western Woodpeckers helped lift the shroud.
Light poured in and burst through the clouds,
And made our Hero feel warm and proud.
With the strength of the troupe and the world at their feet,
Draig had no choice and admitted defeat.
With light all around the darkness had gone,
Our Hero continued to sing his lark song.
Although mighty Draig was not truly slain,
He decided he’d stay and help guard the domain.
Though Draig’s scales were hard, soon he was tamed,
His fiery breath helped banish all shame.
Our Hero had finally won this fight,
Free from the guilt that once hindered his sight.
He sent off a crow to his northern homeland,
To let them all know he’d established a band.
Within the great castle, cheers were well due,
Our wisest and strongest though already knew.
The Sorcerer and Knight could see all along,
Our Hero just needed to sing his own song.
