The wolf within breaks through the skin,
Late night, satellite; stars alight,
Under the moon I feel the loon,
Temptation makes it hard to face,
When in the feels it feels more real,
Reel after reel my mind won’t heal,
To make amends with long lost friends,
Or maybe mend those toxic trends,
Breaking habit to chase the rabbit,
But down the burrow again we follow,
I find my mind is not too kind,
As madness comes from childhood sadness,
Is it too much to be gently nudged,
And meet the one who starts the Budge,
The moon will wane and make me sane,
But when it’s full I feel the pull.
Lupus, requiescat in pace.
A mirror shows our friend from foe,
Allow with ease to be at peace,
For this is just a mere disease,
Tame, love with ease; attach the leash,
You’ve now evolved and learned to solve,
Sharp teeth and claws, to sheathed paws,
Argentum may keep beast at bay,
A warning word, keep hand on sword,
Unleash your power, but don’t devour,
Protect your kin, and what’s within,
A blue moon can awake our man,
The grey wolf’s howl will lift his cowl,
Though breaking skin is not a sin,
Recall the beast before it feasts,
Breathe in; breathe out there is no doubt,
Go forth to thrive and stay alive.
